Every year when winter rolls around I start locking my keys in the Jeep because I’ve spent all summer with the doors off. Fortunately I usually keep a very long snow brush handle in the back, so I can unzip a window, grab the brush, extend it, and unlock the passenger door with judicious pressure against the latch.
Or, I could start keeping a spare key hidden under the body. I think it’s time to do that.

I locked my keys in my Explorer more often than I’d like to admit, but it had a keypad on the door, so it wasn’t a big deal.
